Our Champions

What is the Champion Experience?
No Opportunity will be Wasted when cultivating young minds. We take advantage of every minute to be an opportunity to learn something new or reinforce a skill. Our curriculum is homemade and tailored to the needs of each individual and group. Champions are assessed quarterly to monitor their learning and adjust the curriculum to meet their needs.
Sprouting Champs
6 weeks - 17 months
1:4 Teacher to Child Ratio
As baby's cognitive abilities rapidly develop, we use every aspect of their routine to expand their learning.
We build language skills by providing consistent interaction and communication. Circle time includes story time, singing nursery rhymes, and infant picture cards. Fine & gross motor skill goals are worked on daily and reinforced with introduction to self-care skills like self-feeding. Age-appropriate toys are rotated to keep baby engaged through discovery.

Developing Champs
12 - 23 months
1:6 Teacher to Child Ratio
This is the class where we lay a strong foundation for learning. Early learning starts with the recognition of colors, numbers, and letters. As champions learn to recognize letters, we introduce them to name recognition. We focus on further developing language skills with story time and picture cards, working on social & emotional development during play time, and encouraging independence and self-care.

Training Champs
2 - 3 years
1:11 Teacher to Child Ratio
As our champions work through this stage of development, we aim to help continually improve their social & emotional skills. Champions are learning to share, set and respect boundaries, and coping skills. We begin focusing on exposure to early literacy and math by continuing number & letter recognition and name recognition. Champions are potty-training and working to become independent and self-sufficient.

Reigning Champs
3 - 5 years
2:16 Teacher to Child Ratio
Our main goal for preschoolers is to set them up to excel in kindergarten. Our passion is to have them reading sight words and books that have fifty words or more. We focus on early literacy by mastering letter recognition & phonetics. Fine motor skills are refined with writing practice & hands-on activities. Our goals in math include number recognition, counting to 100, and simple arithmetic. To improve social & emotional skills, we work on identifying & naming emotions, coping skills, and impulse control.
