Mrs. Kourtney has been with N.O.W. University since 2017 and in the childcare industry for more than 10 years. She has achieved an Associate of Arts in Early Childhood Development, along with administration, preschool, and school age certifications.
Mrs. Kourtney chose to dedicate her time to early childhood education, because she strives to give young minds a head start to kindergarten learning. She works best with our preschool champions to give them an early boost in reading.

Our main goal for preschoolers is to set them up to excel in kindergarten. Our passion is to have them reading sight words and books that have fifty words or more. We focus on early literacy by mastering letter recognition & phonetics. Fine motor skills are refined with writing practice & hands-on activities. Our goals in math include number recognition, counting to 100, and simple arithmetic. To improve social & emotional skills, we work on identifying & naming emotions, coping skills, and impulse control.
